What is a recurring breakdown?

A breakdown is said to be recurring when it recurs on the same equipment (or a family) after an intervention. It can be:

  • Identical: same symptoms, same uneliminated cause;
  • Similar: same component, different cause;
  • Systemic: a more global problem (design, usage, organization).
