This expert course is aimed at MAINTEX administrators: IT directors, IT managers, CMMS project managers and power users in charge of platform configuration and governance. It covers everything an administrator must master to deploy, configure and maintain a professional MAINTEX environment — from initial company configuration to day-to-day user management, including the structuring nomenclature.
Program: creation and configuration of a company (single or multi-company with data copy), fine-grained user management (codes, profiles, passwords, linked actor, validity period, mobile access), access restrictions by section / department / cost center, definition of global preferences (header, default values, mandatory fields, email notifications), and design of the organization’s analytical nomenclature (section, department, management center, cost center, equipment, component, item). You will also learn to manage external actors (internal technicians and subcontracted suppliers) and avoid classic coding pitfalls that condemn sites to a re-engineering 12 months after go-live.
By the end of the course, you will be able to build a coherent, secure and scalable MAINTEX environment, ready to support dozens of users and thousands of pieces of equipment. You will also know how to anticipate structuring choices (coding, profiles, perimeters) that will determine operational quality for several years. Essential for any CMMS project manager or functional administrator.
